Light Comes First-

As a multi-disciplinary artist, it is sometimes difficult to articulate the essence of the connection between the varied ways that I work and how I think of process and meaning. 
 
The full body of my work should be understood in the context of a collective whole since it is all in the service of speaking about longing, time, memory, and (perhaps) nostalgia, regardless of media.
 
What connects these pathways of image-making is the wonder and trickery of it all, but mostly it's light. Which always comes first.
